Our History

Our History

I have been practicing law for 13 years and my practice includes all aspects of family law matters. Before forming The Gregg law Firm, LLC, I was an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Houston, concentrating on litigation of nuisance abatement issues in court.

After graduating from law school, I worked for a large Houston law firm, working on high-end divorce cases and estate planning. Those experiences taught me many important lessons about what to do for my clients, but more importantly, what not to do. I have extensive experience with complex property cases and have developed a “niche” in the area of retirement benefits, including the Houston Police Officers’ Pension System, the Houston Firefighters Relief and Retirement Fund, and the Houston Municipal Retirement System, as well as federal government retirement systems, state retirement systems, and military retirement. These can often be quite complicated. My experience and knowledge in retirement systems benefits my clients greatly.

I firmly believe that a negotiated settlement is almost always the best way to bring lasting resolution to any matter, especially family law matters, when litigation become necessary, I am prepared to vigorously represent my clients’ best interest through trial. I understand the challenges of family cases from a court litigation standpoint, but I am also compassionate to client’s needs, while recognizing the sensitivity each case poses.

I was born and raised in Texas. Although not a native Houstonian, Houston has been my home since 2001 and I love representing clients in the greater Houston Area. Away from the office, my proudest accomplishment is that I am mother. I am raising two children and two dogs. I am passionate about community service, reading and traveling.

I want to provide clients the service they need, the personal treatment they deserve, at a price they can afford.
